Yadda Man

The Full Bio

Yadda Man is an American artist/ rapper, songwriter, designer and entrepreneur. Born in Columbus, GA. But he was raised in different cities throughout the Midwest. Yadda started his musical journey at age 12, And he has been on this journey for a long, long time. But he really started to gain ground while residing in Rapid City South Dakota, where he came up with what he calls his formula. He was always writing and creating, but when he started to put projects together in the form of Mixtape music, is when he began to level up. He also had a logo created so he could have T-Shirts pressed up. Most times about 10 or 20 at a time. Then he would go sit in the park and take donations for the mixtapes, and practically give the T-shirts away. Which by the way was a bigger hit than the music actually. But that formula worked though. Yadda figured it out, if he could go out and talk with the music consumers instead of asking for friends or follows online on the web, he could use his energy and charisma to pitch better and gain fans, or Friends as he likes to call them. All this made the final part of the plan easier. The Shows. He and his manager with the help of a local radio personality decided to throw shows instead of asking to get on them. And with Yadda doing all his leg work and his face to face, hand to hand, and of course creating some really good music. The fan base was born. Shows were lit! And attendance seems to be growing after ever performance. Yadda seems to embrace the grind of independency. He has been honing his Offbrand brand for over a decade along with his Uncle/Manager and Cofounder of OffBrand Inc Chalie Numbas. And he can still be found in a park, on the block or even at College campus near you. Using "The Formula." STAY TUNED!

How We Started The OffBrand

Chalie Numbas:

I been working with Yadda Man since 2004. At the time I had several really dope kids. Rappers, R&B and Pop singers, Producers, Songwriters, composers etc. Name it we had it. Yadda was this really hyper kid, super ambitious. Which could be good or bad, if you don't know what to do with that energy. We were always in the studio, Lab Rats! Some nights we didn't leave unless you were young and had school or a little job or something like Yadda and a couple others. Then I would have to make them go home. I would stop a session to drop them off if you didn't have a ride. And if they f*cked up in school, or at home... There were consequences. Yadda was always f*cking up. Sometimes I would go to pick him up for studio and his Moms would say "Yadda Man Can't go he's grounded!" It would take me about an hour, But I would talk her in to letting him go. But when he got to the studio, I would make him sit there and watch everybody else record. Wouldn't let him touch the booth. But he would still write. I think it taught him a few valuable lessons. One was to stay the hell out of trouble. Number two... There are consequences for all actions in life, period. And most importantly was to seize every opportunity like it is your last time you will be able to do it!
